Each year, nearly 20,000 people travel to San Diego for Esri’s User Conference, the world’s largest annual gathering of geographic information system (GIS) professionals, developers, and users. In 2025, I was tasked with designing stage graphics for the event, which centered around the theme “Integrating Everything, Everywhere.”

Working closely with a team of motion designers, I developed a visual system and series of graphics designed to transform the stage environment during transitions and breaks between plenary speakers. The graphics were created to complement the overall event experience while reinforcing the conference theme through dynamic, large-scale visual storytelling.
